SuperGeo Technologies, the leading global provider of complete GIS software and solutions, today announces a new spinoff company, EMCT, to provide specialized environmental consulting services using GIS technologies.
The newly established company, Environmental Management Consultant Technologies Inc. (EMCT), used to be a project team focusing on the consulting services in the fields of environment, public health, agriculture, etc. The main clients are government sectors and private firms, such as the Department of Health, Endemic Species Research Institute, and Environmental Protection Bureau.
To provide professional GIS services in the focused domains, SuperGeo decided to spin off EMCT after the rapid sales growth in recent years.
This is the third spinoff company from SuperGeo Technologies. The first company, TMS Technologies Co. concentrates on the consulting and implementation services regarding Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), Telematics, ICT, etc. Following that, SMAP Technologies is a reputed provider for the digital geographic data, LBS, and Internet maps in Taiwan and Southeaster Asia.
Davis Xu is the CEO and President of EMCT. Xu holds a master degree at the Graduate Institute of Geography, National Taiwan University, top one university in Taiwan. Having over 15 years experience in GIS (geographic information system) expertise, Xu has gained strong connection with the government and firms in the domain. EMCT will continue to offer specialized project services in natural resources management, ecology, and public health, structured on SuperGIS technologies.
