MundoGEO, leader in organizing events, publishing magazines and web portal for the geospatial sector in Latin America, has just released MundoGEO Magazine for the tablet and HTML 5 platforms, in addition to the existing printed version. This is the first magazine on geomatics released in Portuguese and soon to be released in Spanish in such formats. The content is now much more dynamic and interactive.

In order to demonstrate the possibilities of this new platform, the first issue is now available for download free of charge for the iOS, Android and HTML 5 systems. To get the iPad version just search for “MundoGEO” on the Apple Store. For Android powered tablets the link is https://play.google.com/store/search?q=mundogeo&c=apps, and for PC users the link is http:/www.mundogeo.com/mundogeo67.

The advantages of this new format go beyond the ease of storage and mobility, including content and putting different media together under a new design. The new audio and video resources and also the animated infographics account for the interactivity.

“The release of the magazine on the tablet format is a further step of MundoGEO Magazine towards the integration of several ways to get the geomatics community connected”, says Eduardo Freitas, the magazine editor. “With the tablet option, we now offer another way for people to get to know and update themselves about geospatial solutions and technologies, but now with much more interaction”, he adds.

“This new content channel of MundoGEO Magazine adds up to the existing ones, such as the printed magazine, the web portal, the MundoGEO#Connect Latin America event, the webinars and the social networks, as another information option for the geospatial community in Latin America”, summarizes Emerson Granemann, MundoGEO Magazine director and publisher.
