MundoGEO#Connect 2013 launches 23 challenges to the geospatial community

Event suggests themes that will inspire the courses, seminars and forums planned for 2013. The geospatial community can contribute by sending ideas and proposing solutions to these challenges of the meeting, that will be held in June 2013 in Sao Paulo, Brazil

MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica 2013_SiteMundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica 2013, the largest and most important event of the geospatial industry in Latin America, held from June 18 thru 20 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, has a new exclusive website about the meeting. Among the highlights of this new platform, there is an area dedicated to the “challenges” that the organization proposes to discuss the event, based on the theme “New ideas, great solutions.” From the received ideas of the whole geospatial community, the contents of the courses, seminars and forums will be drawn.

According to Emerson Granemann Zanon, director of MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica, this innovative way will stimulate further interaction on building a content aligned with the current status of the geospatial market. “We are contacting the major industry professionals to gather suggestions for the event, and make it easy for the whole community to send their contributions”, he concludes.

Eduardo Freitas, coordinator of the event content, comments that the MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica 2013 event is also open to suggestions through an online survey. “Therefore, we can strength the collaboration, which is a strong feature of the event since its inception,” he concludes.

According to the organizers of the event, this information gathering phase ends in late October, as in November the preliminary program of MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica 2013 should be defined and launched at the event website.
