Starting today (13), the week will have a webinar every day until next Friday (17), covering various topics within the geospatial technologies. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

On Monday (13), several experts will introduce participants to the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) for the mapping industry. In this webinar they will discuss the characteristics and applications of UAV for mapping, in the areas of environment, forestry, agriculture, among others. See how autonomous vehicles – with different technologies and sizes – are revolutionizing the industry of aerial surveying. Geospatial Data Visualization

This webinar will be held in partnership with Space Imaging do Brasil, next Tuesday (14) at 11am, and will address the most modern and sophisticated online systems for geospatial data visualization. The parcipants will meet high tech online systems that allow web access to the database of high resolution images. These systems are being widely used by large companies in diverse sectors, such as mining, energy, agriculture, defense, among others. The speaker will be Tata Lacale Canal, Geographer formed by UFRJ, with a Masters in Geoinformatics at ITC – Netherlands. Currently serves as Sr. Channel Sales Manager at GeoEye Brazil. gvSIG Free Software

In partnership with the gvSIG Asociation, this seminar will be held on Thursday, at 11am, and will present the open source project gvSIG. The webinar will be presented in Spanish, with a brief introduction to the characteristics of the project and its organization. There will be also demonstrations of its ability to work with GIS vector, raster GIS, IDE client, network analysis and also 3D GIS. SuperGeo GIS Technologies

Through a partnership with Engesat, SuperGeo representative in Brazil, MundoGEO will perform on Friday 14h an online seminar on technologies for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from  SuperGeo. The solutions offered by SuperGeo, in Desktop, Server, Mobile (GPS, PDA, Tablet) are state of the art tools for users of geoinformation technologies, with the best cost-benefit relationship, permanent support and continuous evolution of the system that incorporates market news constantly. In all webinars, participants will interact with the presenters by sending their questions via chat. The seminars will last approximately one hour each.

MundoGEO Online Seminars (Webinars)

The series of MundoGEO online seminars (webinars) were created for educational and informational purposes on technologies, cases and trends in the geospatial solutions industry. The webinars offer a simple and fast way for refresher courses, placing the companies, institutions and users in direct contact, without the need to travel. Since 2009, MundoGEO has organized more than 60 webinars in Spanish and Portuguese. In 2012 June, MundoGEO webinars had a record-breaking in participation in the events, with over 2,800 subscribers and 1,500 people connected in the same event. These online seminars are supported by companies from the geospatial industry, as well as institutions that promote the development of geospatial solutions in the world.
