IntergeoThanks to the collaboration with GEOconnexion, more British companies than ever before will be exhibiting at INTERGEO 2013.

INTERGEO continues to strengthen its international appeal. Thanks to a collaboration with the British information service GEOconnexion Ltd., more British exhibitors than ever before will be represented at the 19th INTERGEO in Essen in October.   “This collaboration lays further strategic groundwork,” says Olaf Freier, Managing Director of HINTE GmbH, organiser of INTERGEO.  Essen will see the first joint stand for British manufacturers of exploration equipment, cartographic software and satellite technology.

“Like other countries in Europe, the UK has a long tradition of pioneering developments in Geographic Information Systems software and applications, as well as a strong sector specialising in aerial photography and satellite imagery.
Through our co-operation with GEOconnexion, we look forward to welcoming more British companies with this arrangement to this year’s event.” commented Freier.

GEOconnexion is INTERGEO 2013’s second international partner this year. The collaboration with the Brazilian company MundoGEO will enable Latin American exhibitors to present their products in Essen.

“In future, INTERGEO will continue to rely on global partners to strengthen and expand the industry’s international networks,” Freier explains. The proportion of international visitors rose to 30 percent last year, and visitors from 22 countries have already registered for this year’s fair.
