The Galileo Summer School for Latin America will be held by Federal University of Santa Maria, Brazil, on December 4th-5th, 2007.
The training of 2-days intensive lectures will introduce the actual Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) with a special focus on the European Galileo and EGNOS Programmes.
The training aims to present the actual Galileo System state-of-art- and its worldwide applications and services available in a very near future in Latin America. The lectures will be given by team of experts on GNSS fields of interest to provide a robust and complete formation on Galileo. The teaching language will be Spanish and Portuguese.
The Galileo Summer School will be hosted by Campus Brasil of CRECTEALC, National Institute of Space Research-INPE and Federal University of Santa Maria-UFSM, Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. This event is organized by the Galileo Information Center in the frame of the LATINO Project.
