GeoAnalytics® Inc., an IT consulting firm that specializes in the planning, design, and implementation of enterprise class, spatially enabled information systems, has been retained by the City of Troy, Ohio to implement Azteca Systems’ Cityworks Asset Maintenance Management System (AMMS).
The City will use Cityworks to oversee maintenance management of several Public Works assets including Water, Wastewater, Traffic Control, and Signage. The system will provide the City with the tools to manage the entire lifecycle of citizen service requests, work orders, and preventative maintenance. Over the last few years the Public Works Department has been building an electronic asset infrastructure mapping system using ESRI’s ArcGIS suite, with an end goal of providing employees with the best technology to efficiently maintain assets. Now, with Cityworks, the City can leverage those investments in GIS and more closely track costs, and gain efficiencies in maintaining those assets.
As part of the implementation, GeoAnalytics will provide software installation, service request and work order template construction, reporting, and user and administrative training. “GeoAnalytics is looking forward to working with the City on this important project. It is evident City staff members are progressive thinkers and see opportunity to draw significant value from the system,” said Aaron Zwiefelhofer, Account Manager with GeoAnalytics.
