Dimac Systems, a leading global provider of digital aerial imagery solutions announces that the company is launching its new range of ‘Dimac+’ digital aerial cameras, upgraded with the Dalsa full-frame 60 million pixel area CCD color image sensor.

All Dimac cameras from the highly regarded Dimact (Digital Modular Aerial Camera) product family will now feature the latest 60 Mpix CCD sensor from Dalsa, new and higher quality lenses, and faster cycle rates leading to larger footprint configurations and improved efficiency.

Effective immediately, footprint configurations in the ‘Dimac+’ series will be 13 000 x 8 900 pixels for the ‘Dimac Wide+’ large format digital camera and 8 900 x 6 700 pixels for both its ‘Dimac Light+’ upgradeable medium format camera and for its ‘Dimac Ultralight+’, an ultra compact and inexpensive medium format system. As always, true modularity for both mapping & orthophoto applications remain key to the DiMAC brand, allowing photogrammetry, digital cartography, cadastral surveying and geomatics players to choose from the large range of DiMAC solutions which best fit their needs and, in turn, offer their customers the highest possible customised service.

The ‘Dimac+’ series will naturally display the benefits commonly associated with the Dimac brand, namely the accuracy and clarity that can only be obtained through TRUE forward motion compensation and TRUE Color acquisition, combined with DiMAC’s latest generation IT Rack – the lightest and most compact on-board control system in the world.
