ERDAS Inc. announces that SIGIS Soluciones Integrales GIS C.A. is now the official ERDAS distributor to customers in Venezuela. Based in Caracas, SIGIS has been an ERDAS distributor since March 2009.

Worldwide, SIGIS was the first company to use IKONOS imagery for emergency response. In 2001, Space Imaging awarded SIGIS their Outstanding Authorized Reseller Award and in 2002, the Regional Director’s Award Latin America.
