1Spatial is pleased to announce the release of version 1.7 of its popular entry-level CAD-GIS integration tool MapRelateT. MapRelate is a complementary component for AutoCAD that allows users to gain instant and direct access to their local or corporately held spatial data from within their native AutoCAD environment. This means a user can combine or overlay their design accurately against detailed spatial data, improving design precision and providing a simple solution for architects, engineers and data administrators to meet legal and customer obligations.
Version 1.7 is primarily focussed on supporting the AutoCAD 2010 series from Autodesk. MapRelate now includes enhanced data support with direct GML and OS MasterMap reading and support for ESRI personal GeoDatabases. It also has a range of functionality updates including:
– Elevation from attribute support (for contours)
– MPolygon support (configuration and drawing)
– File-based configuration support
– Removed requirement for ‘regedit’ privileges
– TextAsLine positioning and optimisation fixes
– Text configuration editing fix
