The Carbon Project announces the availability of an open source dashboard for Geodata.gov, the federal government’s information service for maps and data. The free application enables "at-a-glance" visualization of geospatial assets and monitoring of Geospatial One-Stop search functions from desktop PCs.
The Carbon Project will also host an initial online workshop on August 31,2009 to promote community dialog on the functions of the dashboard with NSDI users and developers. If you wish to participate please contact Email Contact.
The GOS Dashboard is part of the 2009 National Spatial Data Infrastructure Cooperative Agreement Program and will be jointly designed in support of governmental activities by The Carbon Project, the US Army Corps of Engineers and other FGDC representatives and based on key business requirements.
