The GSDI 12 World Conference has been scheduled to take place in Singapore from 19th to 22nd October 2010. Organising partners are GSDI Association, Permanent Committee on GIS Infrastructure for Asia & the Pacific and Singapore Land Authority. GIS Development is amongst media partner.
The theme for GSDI 12 is "Realising Spatially Enabled Societies". This conference will explore the complementary roles of government, private industry and the academic community in realising better means for sharing geographic data and technologies and developing improved location-based services for meeting real world needs.
The 12th GSDI Conference will also host the annual meeting of the Permanent Committee on GIS Infrastructure for Asia & the Pacific, represented by 56 nations in the region.

The GSDI Association is an inclusive group of organisations, agencies, firms and individuals from around the world.
