Data East, LLC – leading Russian developer of intelligent GIS tools announces the first ever gaming extension for ArcGIS – Fifteen Puzzle 1.0.

“As long time GIS users ourselves we pay special attention to the usability of the most sophisticated tools we provide – says Dr. Slava Ananyev, Director General of Data East, LLC – We think it’s great when you can truly enjoy the software that you spend most of your day with. Fifteen Puzzle brings an entirely new flavor into ArcGIS user experience. We plan to launch more intelligent fun apps for ArcGIS in the future.”

Fifteen Puzzle is a way to relax for a coffee break right inside ArcGIS. Your map is cut into fifteen tiles that are randomly shuffled – and you can start finding the quickest and most efficient way to put it back together. You can make the challenge tougher if you turn off the numbers shown on the puzzle tiles and check your knowledge of the map that you work with.

High-score table keeps track of your own successes, so you can improve your ArcGIS skills in yet another way!

The game is compatible with ArcGIS 9.3, 9.3.1, and 10 and is available for free download from our web-site. For more information please contact us at Email Contact.
