For its office near Munich, Germany, Trimble is looking for: GNSS R&D Engineer for research and development in the area of GNSS positioning.
Trimble Navigation is one of the pioneers in the area of positioning with the Global Positioning System (GPS). Our Research and Development team in Munich is responsible within Trimble for high-precision GNSS solutions, RTK and Infrastructure solutions including Network RTK.
Area of responsibility:
– Cooperation with other team members on the development of GNSS Positioning Solutions supporting new techniques and new satellite signals;
– Research of new positioning methods like Precise Point Positioning (PPP) using orbit and clock information;
– Extension of our products to include new satellite signals and systems (Galileo, QZSS etc.);
– Development of new approaches towards carrier phase ambiguity resolution and validation;
– Communication and cooperation with colleagues from other Trimble engineering sites (e.g. in the US and New Zealand);
– Documentation in English and presentation of results.
Qualification:
– Master or PhD in Geomatics engineering;
– Experience with software development for PC applications with Microsoft Visual Studio and C++.
