NDrive, the multiplatform navigation solutions provider, is offering a free limited edition download of its latest Barcelona map for Android smartphone users at Mobile World Congress 2011 to help guide them round one of Europe’s busiest and most bustling cities.
With over 50,000 people expected to visit the show – from February 14-17 – finding restaurants, bars and points of interest can be a real challenge. NDrive’s Android app – available to download at the Android Market – provides a wide range of information in 37 languages including the latest city maps and new social networking capabilities based on the company’s latest software.
The app – which goes live on Sunday 13th February for one week – supports any Android phone or tablet from Android 1.6 (Donut) to 2.3 (Gingerbread) with automatic screen resolution adjust. As well as Barcelona, users can access the entire Iberian peninsula for wider travel information plus a range.
Features include turn-by-turn navigation, traffic reports, online weather and safety camera updates plus the ability to access social networking features including Foursquare and location-based services and offers.

NDrive’s solution is available on most of the top leading smartphone brands, as well as personal navigation devices, tablets and netbooks. Pre-bundled with over 1M handsets in 2010, the company’s latest software version will be showcased at the NDrive booth – Hall P7 (App Planet) Level 0 stand 7C70 – where visitors can experience the new version 11 running on a number of devices.
