Android-powered SuperSurv 3.1 enhances soil survey and land use planning

Supersurv 3.1aSupergeo Technologies announced that the Rural and Regional Development of Kedah State Development Corporation, Malaysia purchased SuperSurv 3.1, the Android-powered mobile GIS software, to improve field operations for facilitating long-term land use and agricultural plans and the balanced development in Kedah.

GIS enables Kedah State Development Corporation to collect, integrate, manage, and report spatial data about the local population, industries, land, natural resources, etc; meanwhile performing advanced analysis for more informed decision and policy making in proper budget and resource allocation .

Supporting multi-language user interface, global coordinate system and common vector layer file such as GEO or .SHP, SuperSurv 3.1 improves field productivity with enhanced feature editing and layer management functions, providing land planers with detailed information of geographic distribution of land use change to plan sustainable economic development.

With an ambitious aim of increasing the market share in ASEAN, Supergeo will attend at Asia Geospatial Forum 2013 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It will be a great opportunity for Supergeo to facilitate direct communication among local governments, enterprises, and education institution and further increase more market share in this region.
