On November 8-12 MundoGEO will hold the first edition of the SpaceBR Show, online and free of charge. The event, which has the strategic support of the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB), will feature more than 50 renowned speakers who work in the public and private sectors in Brazil, the United States, and Europe. There will be 15 panels for discussing the main trends and opportunities for the sector’s productive chain, focusing on launch vehicles, launch centers, satellites, systems, and ground reception stations. See the complete schedule and make your registration at: www.spacebrshow.com.
The purpose of the event is to integrate the various players in the space sector community, such as industries, education and research institutions, as well as public and private users. In addition, the SpaceBR Show will disclose the main technological advances in times of space explorations and the opportunities of this market for young people and investors. According to a study conducted by Bryce Tech, in partnership with the Satellite Industry Association, the space sector generated US$ 371 billion in 2020 worldwide – that shows there are plenty of opportunities for companies, governments, and the population in general, including Brazilians, when it comes to the access to space.
“We created the SpaceBR Show event to integrate efforts and bring government, academia and industry together, aiming at strengthening the space sector in society and inserting Brazil in the New Space context,” stated MundoGEO CEO Emerson Granemann. The so-called “New Space” is a new moment in the space sector, which brings together disruptive ideas for the development of new activities and the transformation of existing infrastructures and services, with a strong private sector presence.
In addition to the strategic support of the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB), linked to the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MCTI), the SpaceBR Show also has the institutional support of the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), the Association of Aerospace Industries in Brazil (AIAB), the National Union of Defense Materials Industries (SIMDE) and the Brazilian Association of Defense and Security Materials (ABIMDE).
“What we expect for the SpaceBR Show 2021 is the opportunity to bring solution developers closer to major users, as well as to develop a market based on space applications compatible with the country’s needs,” stated the president of the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB), Carlos Moura.
