Eve Air Mobility, an Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) company from Embraer, announced the completion of the first carbon fiber laminate material for the eVTOL under development. The material was manufactured together with Alltec Composites.
This is a milestone for Eve’s eletric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, since it will be made entirely from carbon fiber, making it lighter and more efficient. This milestone makes assembling the prototype this semester possible, which would be followed by test campaigns in 2024.
According to Eve, more than 300 people were involved at Eve, Embraer, and Alltec Composites, to reach this achievement.
