The DroneShow Robotics and MundoGEO Connect exhibitions are among the largest in the world in the technology sector, being the 2nd largest in number of visitors among the events that bring together exhibitors and contents in the sectors of drones and geospatial technology in the same site.
In 2024, the exhibitions exceeded the organizers’ expectations and broke visitation records: 8,000 professionals were present during the three-day event, held at Expo Center Norte – Pavilhão Amarelo, in São Paulo, Brazil. This number is just no greater than the traditional Intergeo, held annually in Germany, and which brought together more than 15,000 people in 2024.
Organized by MundoGEO, DroneShow Robotics and MundoGEO Connect attract attention mainly because they represent the Latin American market, which is smaller than the European and American markets, for example. In fact, no event in the United States with the same characteristics is the same size as Brazilian exhibitions.
The growth of MundoGEO events is notable. Since 2017, the number of attendees has been increasing. From 3,080 that year, it reached 5,700 in 2023. The biggest jump, however, occurred in 2024, reaching 8,000 visitors, also due to the move to a larger location — until 2023 the exhibitions took place at the Frei Caneca Convention Center and moved this year for Expo Center Norte, increasing the space in square meters by 50%. For 2025, the space will be even larger with the migration to the Blue Pavilion.
“We are here at MundoGEO very proud to have held this year the largest geospatial technology and drone exhibitions in the Americas and the second in the world. These are numbers that prove the potential of these technologies not only in Brazil but throughout Latin America, considering that our events are attracting more and more visitors from outside Brazil”,
celebrates the CEO of MundoGEO, Emerson Granemann.
The expectation for 2025 is to once again surpass the number of visitors to maintain the leadership in the Americas and position itself as an international event — in 2024 alone, professionals from 33 countries were present.
DroneShow Robotics and MundoGEO Connect will be held simultaneously with the SpaceBR Show and the Expo eVTOL, which bring together the space and urban air mobility markets, respectively. These are events with great synergy and provide visitors with more options for exhibitors and agenda of forums, seminars, workshops and courses.
