The DroneShow Robotics, MundoGEO Connect, and SpaceBR Show trade shows bring together the professional drone, geointelligence, and space sectors, respectively, on an annual basis. Combined, these markets are projected to generate US$ 9.8 billion in 2026 in Brazil, according to a study by MundoGEO and the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG)—the organizers of the events held in June at the Expo Center Norte (Blue Pavilion) in São Paulo.

All three sectors have seen continuous growth in the country in recent years, and this trend is expected to persist. The figure stood at US$ 8.3 billion in 2025, pointing to a 20% jump for the current year. These figures account for equipment, software, and solutions, as well as—and primarily—service provision for the public and private sectors and society at large.

Geointelligence, professional drones, and space are markets that are intrinsically interconnected in many situations. They encompass various segments, ranging from mapping, inspections, agricultural spraying, and georeferencing to satellite-based services such as remote sensing, connectivity, navigation, meteorology, and telecommunications.

These technologies—often integrated—offer solutions for agriculture, public safety, defense, infrastructure, the environment, mining, civil construction, oil and gas, logistics, and land management. In doing so, they not only boost productivity in strategic sectors but also generate thousands of jobs and essential technology for Brazil.

“Of the visitors to the DroneShow Robotics, MundoGEO Connect, and SpaceBR Show trade fairs, 95% approve of holding the events jointly. This demonstrates that these technologies, when combined, deliver significant benefits—such as supporting decision-making in both the private and public sectors,” notes Emerson Granemann, CEO of MundoGEO.

Held simultaneously, these events bring together a vast ecosystem comprising private companies, government bodies, universities, research institutes, startups, investors, and users of solutions involving drones, satellite imagery, and geospatial intelligence. Exhibitors include companies that sell and provide services using drones and ground stations equipped with state-of-the-art onboard technology for precise data collection, as well as space launch vehicle manufacturers, satellite service providers, and geointelligence solution developers.

The 2026 edition attracted over 12,000 visitors from 40 countries—a 20% increase compared to the 2025 fair. The event was held concurrently with Expo eVTOL, which focuses on the electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft market and advanced air mobility. Additionally, the fair featured more than 170 exhibitors and 200 speakers across 12 courses, nine seminars, three forums, and nine special activities.

The events received institutional support from the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB), the Ministry of Defense (MD), the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), the National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac), the Department of Airspace Control (Decea), the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA), the Brazilian Association of Defense and Security Materials Industries (Abimde), and the Brazilian Aerospace Industries Association (AIAB).
