The BEE Platform, developed by Brazilian aerospace company TUPAN, will be one of the highlights of Expo eVTOL 2025 — part of the MundoGEO Connect event, taking place June 3–5 at Expo Center Norte (São Paulo, Brazil).
Comprised of three variants (AgroBee, LogBee and GuardianBee), the BEE is a modular, hybrid, high-capacity aerial system, ideal for large-scale operations in the agriculture, logistics, and emergency response sectors.
One platform, multiple missions
Unlike traditional agricultural drones with limited autonomy and payload, the BEE Platform combines fixed wings with vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) capability — ensuring greater area coverage, extended range, and reduced energy consumption.
Developed with 100% Brazilian technology, the BEE uses a hybrid alcohol-electric propulsion system featuring ultra low-power and regenerative technologies. The result is one of the best weight-to-performance and energy density ratios on the market. All propulsion and energy systems are engineered in-house by TUPAN, ensuring autonomy, scalability, and industrial efficiency.
Three Variants, One DNA
AGROBEE — High performance in the field
AgroBee is the highest-capacity agricultural drone in its class, developed in Brazil by TUPAN, a national leader in aerospace engineering for agribusiness.
Designed for large-scale crop spraying, it delivers the highest hectare/hour coverage efficiency, outperforming major global competitors.
Powered by alcohol and equipped with engines produced in-house via Turbomachine, AgroBee offers long flight autonomy, low operational cost, and is the fastest drone in its class. The same advanced energy system is also used in LogBee and GuardianBee — combining high-efficiency electric systems with combustion generators for maximum power-to-weight ratio and energy density.
The ideal solution for large farms and high-performance agricultural operations.
GUARDIANBEE — Aerial response for emergencies and wildfires
Designed for forest firefighting, emergency supply transport, and disaster response, the GuardianBee can carry large volumes of liquid and operate in hard-to-reach terrains with speed and precision.
Ideal for civil protection, rescue operations, and fast-response missions.
LOGBEE — Air logistics where no one else can reach
Focused on cargo transport in remote, rural, or hard-access areas, LogBee offers structural robustness, long-range autonomy, and precise, safe, and cost-effective delivery — all with vertical takeoff capability and simplified deployment.
Why BEE Redefines Aerial Mobility
The comparison chart below demonstrates how the BEE Platform outperforms traditional multirotor drones and conventional helicopters or aircraft across five essential metrics: payload capacity, infrastructure independence, real autonomy, operational cost, and environmental impact.
The result is a hybrid VTOL system capable of operating in any terrain, with low OPEX and reduced emissions, while delivering consistent performance — from agriculture to emergency response.
Thanks to its modular architecture, each variant can be fitted with different sensors, control systems, and payload types — making it suitable for connected farms, civil protection agencies, or supply missions in isolated regions.
What Makes the BEE Different
- Largest payload capacity in its class (up to 900 liters of liquid cargo)
- VTOL system with fixed wings (higher efficiency, lower fuel consumption)
- Powered by alcohol with in-house hybrid propulsion
- 100% Brazilian development, free from foreign tech restrictions
- Versatile, cost-effective, and adaptable to a wide range of sectors
