Moya Aero has announced the launch of its Electric Drone Family, an innovative platform strategy designed to enhance modularity, efficiency, and scalability in air logistics.
The Moya drone family includes two models: the Moya 256, which is already undergoing test flights, and the Moya 760, whose prototype is currently under development. Moya Aero will manufacture these eVTOL models based on a shared electric architecture. This common framework allows for seamless integration across various mission profiles, ranging from urgent medical transport to industrial supply chains, while minimizing operational complexity and total cost of ownership. The Moya 256 is designed for quick response with mid-distance capabilities, around 160 km, while the 760 can reach up to 190 km with a 190 kg payload.
“By creating a family of drones that share common features, we enable our customers to scale their operations without incurring additional costs or needing extensive training,” said Alexandre Zaramela, CEO of Moya Aero.
The Moya family provides interoperability in fleet operations, simplified maintenance processes, and quicker deployments across diverse geographic and industrial environments. The ground software, battery modules, and flight systems are unified across the platform, ensuring unparalleled efficiency and reliability in the emerging low-altitude logistics sector.
Moya’s dedication to sustainability is evident in every one of its aircraft. All models are fully electric, designed for quiet operation and reduced emissions, aligning with global efforts to decarbonize the supply chain.
The Moya family is expected to enter service in 2027.

About Moya Aero
Moya Aero, founded in 2020, is a spin-off of ACS Aviation, a Brazilian aeronautical engineering, aircraft research and development company located in São José dos Campos. This extraordinary experience is behind the Moya eVTOL, the first high-capacity autonomous vehicle built in Latin America.
The Moya team’s experience spans a broad spectrum of the aerospace industry. This knowledge is used to capitalize on market opportunities with aerial vehicle concepts that address many long-standing logistics problems, such as reducing CO₂ emissions, connecting remote regions with vital supplies, improving the efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness of crop management, and enabling businesses to connect with customers faster, cheaper, and more straightforwardly. Seed4Science, Hards, and Techstars invested in Moya, and the company has the support of FINEP in developing its prototype. Helisul Drones, ProAero, and Certifica Drones are partners.
