Next 18, 19 and 20th of July the GEOBrasil Summit will take place in São Paulo. GEOBrasil is one of the biggest and more complete events dealing with geotechnologies organized in Latin America.
To promote the creation of the Galileo Information Centre (GIC) in Latin America and its activities, as well as the future use of the Galileo system in the region, the LATINO Consortium will be present at the symposium for one of the stands.
Promotional material on the future Galileo system will be distributed to the attendees and the future GIC GNSS courses and workshops will be announced.
The stand will also help to present to the audience of the conferences the published Virtual GIC (www.galileoic.org) allowing people to surf interactivelly through its contents and question on Galileo to the LATINO members present at the stand.
In parallel with the stand organization, and also in the frame of the GEOBrasil, a workshop on the Galileo system will be organized on the 20th of July. The workshop will be attended by representatives from the GJU, LATINO Consortium and CELESTE Consortium, this last one leading the second Galileo Cooperation project in Latin America in parallel to the GIC creation.
