Inter-American Dialogue on Water Management Will Take Place in Guatemala

The 6th Inter-American Dialogue on Water Management will take place in Guatemala City, from 12 to 17 August 2007.

This event will focus on the need to evolve "From Dialogue to action – Strengthening partnerships and building the basis for meeting the Millennium Development Goals".

The dialogue intends to build on the concept of wide participation to come up with recommendations. These will be sent to the region’s decision-makers and opinion-builders in matters of water – regardless of the sector in which they act: in governments, international agencies, private sector, or in the media.
