Intergeo East 2008 will take place from 18 to 20 February in Belgrade. For a third time, Serbia will be a meeting point for experts from the areas of land management, geoinformation, construction and the environment.
The 5th congress trade fair will benefit from two new partners: the Bulgarian Association for Geospatial Information in South-East Europe (AGISEE) and the Serbian Chamber of Engineers will augment the Intergeo East network, thereby opening up new opportunities.
The new partners will be the ideal addition to the cooperation between the German Society for Geodesy, Geoinformation and Land Management (DVW e.V.), the German Agency for Technical Cooperation (GTZ GmbH) that supports a range of programmes of South-East European governments relating to land and property registration, the Republic Geodetic Authority of Serbia/Montenegro (RGZ), and the organizers HINTE GmbH and Congrexpo d.o.o.
AGISEE provided support for the previous Intergeo East and decided to join the existing partner network from 2008 in Sofia. The new regional contacts – including the Chamber of Engineers – also increase the variety in terms of the pan-European focus and perfect the event by including areas that will be of interest to engineers, architects and building planners.
