Leica Geosystems Geospatial Imaging announces its participation at INTERGEO, September 25-27, 2007 in Leipzig, Germany, Halls 1 and 3.

Exhibiting in Hall 1, booths DI.438 and FI.610 (shared with Geosystems GmbH), Leica Geosystems is showcasing several solutions implementing Service Oriented Architectures (SOAs), including the technologies of RedSpider Suite, Leica TITAN, Image Web Server (IWS) and Image Integration Framework (IIF). These SOAs solve the various business problems associated with discovering, describing, managing and delivering intelligent geospatial data products to a variety of applications.

Leica Geosystems is also featuring Leica Photogrammetry Suite (LPS) 9.1, integrated software modules providing accurate and production oriented photogrammetric tools for a broad range of geospatial imaging applications, and Leica Virtual Explorer, a 3D visualization suite of tools for creating and serving scenes over the Internet or to DVD. Leica Geosystems is demonstrating several other geospatial solutions, including ERDAS IMAGINE 9.1 and the Beta release of Leica TITAN, as well as RedSpider Suite, IWS and Leica ADE, three new products in Leica Geosystems’ portfolio, technology recently acquired from IONIC, ER Mapper and Acquis.

“INTERGEO is the leading conference and tradeshow for geodesy, geospatial information and land management,” said Richard McKay, Senior Vice President, Global Sales, Leica Geosystems Geospatial Imaging. “At this key industry event, we are excited to introduce several solutions implementing SOAs, further enhancing our growing enterprise-enabled offerings.”

INTERGEO 2007’s theme is “The Driving Force for Your Geo-Business,” covering all the trends of the value added chain, from acquiring geo-based information to data processing and system-integrated application. Certified by UNION DES FOIRES INTERNATIONALES, INTERGEO is a joint effort of the German Association of Surveying and HINTE GmbH.
