The City of Redmond is located approximately 20 miles southeast of downtown Seattle, and covers more than 16.8 square miles with a 2007 population of 50,680. With more than 100 data sets to maintain and what they saw as an overwhelming number of ArcGIS editing tools and environmental settings, the City of Redmond was struggling with how to manage their editing environment as they moved to ArcGIS 9.2.
