VELOCITIE Integration, Inc. announced a contract awarded by Fulton County, Georgia, to implement Azteca Systems’ Cityworks® computerized maintenance management (CMMS) solution. Fulton County selected Cityworks as part of an enterprise solution that features Advanced Utility Systems’ CIS Infinity and Tele-Works Interactive Voice Recognition (IVR) software solutions.

Chosen as a subcontractor to partner with Advanced Utility Systems, VELOCITIE brings extensive experience and success with CMMS implementation and integration services. “We chose VELOCITIE as our partner because of their proven track record and expertise. Success is the only option to Advanced and we align ourselves with partners that have the same attitude,” stated Steve Hammond, Executive Vice-President of Advanced.

Cityworks is designed to leverage Fulton County’s investment in GIS and provides a complete solution for managing Fulton County’s dispersed infrastructure. The Cityworks implementation will include products and support services for water and sewer users, warehouse purchasing users, and administration and support staff. Maintenance activities associated with County assets include work orders, tests and inspections, and storeroom inventory.

To support the design of a fully integrated and dynamic solution, VELOCITIE will develop an interface to transfer work order information between CIS-Infinity and Cityworks.

VELOCITIE will perform these activities for the CMMS solution at Fulton County:

– Implementation planning including data security, migration, and quality assurance
– Requirements gathering, design and specifications
– Cityworks configuration and data modeling
– Legacy work order data migration
– Interface design, development and deployment
– Cityworks training and documentation
– System deployment coaching and support

Steve Kerr, VELOCITIE’s senior consultant to Fulton County, stated: “The County’s goal is to improve the level of service provided to the citizens of Fulton County and increase the operational efficiency while minimizing costs. We are excited to partner with Advanced Utility Systems to deliver an integrated solution of Cityworks and CIS-Infinity that will help the County to achieve this goal.”
