Workshop debates air quality bio-monitoring in Vale do Paraiba

In associated with Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo, the Climate Studies and Weather Forecast from National Institute for Space Research presents the First Workshop about Bio-monitoring on October 10th.

From 9:00 to 5:00 pm, at IAI/INPE auditorium (São José dos Campos – SP), technicians and educators from Educational and Environmental fields of Vale do Paraiba city councils; will discuss some proposals related to bio-monitoring Project linked to Inaira – Environmental Risk of Integrated Analysis for National Institute, for the region.

With emphasis on environmental education, the bio-monitoring Project studies the air quality in a specific area and its connection with health indicators. Among the workshop speakers, Regiani Carvalho de Oliveira, from USP; Luiz Fernando Nascimento, from Unitau; and Rauda Lúcia Mariane, from CPTEC/INPE.
