SuperGeo Support Historical and Cultural Research with GIS

SuperGeo Technologies supports a GIS workshop in historical research and cultural study in Taiwan.

Sponsored by Taiwan Ministry of Education, National Changhua University of Education recently held a workshop that applies geographic information system (GIS) to cultural and historical studies. Teachers from high schools all over Taiwan were invited.

Been devoted to GIS promotion and education for years, SuperGeo offered numerous sets of SuperGIS software and CCTS Analyst to support the workshop. CCTS Analyst provides users with historical maps for Mainland China and Taiwan ranging over 2000 years, starting from Qin Dynasty.

Since the participants were the faculties of high schools, those teachers who learned the GIS applications to Chinese history and culture can then pass down the knowledge to more students, the future users and researchers in the domain of GIS.
