VisionMap announced that Aerodata International Surveys, one of  Europe’s leading providers of geospatial products and services has deployed two A3 large format cameras and an automatic processing system earlier this year.

The systems which have been recently supplied are scheduled for a busy 2010 flying season. “The capability of the system to deliver high resolution mapping products while flying at higher altitudes is extremely practical and forms a strong complement to our existing sensor line-up. We believe our customers will benefit from our increased capability to deliver high resolution products of very large areas, in a shorter timeframe." said Willem Philipse, Aerodata International Surveys president.

A3 provides superior aerial survey productivity. The camera covers more area each day and the coupled automatic processing system makes it extremely efficient.  A3 digital camera is capable of acquiring 5000 sq. km. in 15 cm. resolution  per day. The automatic processing system is capable of adjusting, solving and processing full resolution orthophotos of 5,000 square kilometers in less than a week. VisionMap systems are deployed in Europe, the US and the Middle East.

A3"We are very proud to have Aerodata debut our systems in Europe. They are a major player in Europe, and their team is extremely professional, making them the perfect partner to introduce a new and paradigm shifting product." said Yaron Vilan, VisionMap’s CEO. "We are positive that A3 will further strengthen Aerodata’s leadership in the continent".
