Leica Viva GS12 receiver for combined GNSS/TPS one-person surveying

Leica Geosystems introduced a new member of its successful Viva GNSS family – the Leica Viva GS12 GNSS receiver. The Leica Viva GS12 is a lightweight receiver that ergonomically combines GNSS and TPS for a Viva SmartPole setup, an integrated ‘All-on-the Pole’ system for productive one-person surveying. The new Leica Viva CS10 3.5G and CS15 3.5G field controllers supplement the GNSS receiver. The new controllers include a fully integrated high-speed 3.5G modem to connect to RTK reference networks and allow mobile broadband internet connectivity for field-to-office data transfer.

Leica Viva SmartPole – Complete Freedom of Choice

The Leica Viva SmartPole provides a complete measurement solution, combining TPS and GNSS. By combining the GS12 GNSS receiver and a 360º prism, the Leica Viva SmartPole provides ultimate ergonomics with lightest weight.

Viva SmartPole users benefit by having both TPS and GNSS in their hands. Users increase their productivity with complete freedom by using GNSS to orientate their TPS and can easily switch between GNSS and TPS to measure any point with total flexibility. With the Leica Viva SmartPole there is no need to first measure orientation points. By simply starting the survey and conducting setup on-the-fly whilst completing measurements, users save time in survey planning and execution.

For additional functionality and flexibility the well known Leica Viva GS15 GNSS receiver can be used with Viva SmartPole.

Leica Viva CS10 and CS15 controllers – now with fully integrated 3.5G broadband
The new Leica Viva field controllers perfectly supplement the Leica Viva SmartPole solution. The Viva field controllers now optionally include 3.5G mobile broadband for high-speed connection to RTK reference networks, the internet and the office. With mobile broadband internet connectivity, field-to-office data transfer functionality significantly improves productivity and flexibility. In addition to 3.5G, the new field controllers can also include Bluetooth, WiFi and TPS radio for further connectivity. With the unique intenna technology, antennas are out of sight and cannot be forgotten, broken or lost.
