The higher demand is in the segments of oil and gas, logistics and energy. MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica event brings these topics as highlights of the program
The federal government of Brazil recently announced that major infrastructure works in the country should be resumed quickly, left behind in 2011. In the priorities list are important projects for national development, such as the airports of Guarulhos and Campinas Viracopos, besides the pre-salt. Nowadays, the demand for investments is more significant in oil & gas, transportation, logistics and energy.
In this case, MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica 2012, the largest gathering of professionals involved in geoinformation in Latin America, will take place on May 29 thru 31 in Sao Paulo (SP), will bring together professionals from these areas to discuss the use and evolution of geotechnology in the Public Sector. This time, the following topics will be approached: Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), satellite images, the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), the topographic automation and quality of geospatial data, among other topics.
“Geotechnologies are presented in many stages of infrastructure works, from the collection, processing, analysis and sharing of geospatial data,” said Eduardo Freitas, technical coordinator of MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica. “During the event, experts and users of geotechnologies will meet to discuss how this range of information and technologies can boost the works and optimize investments in infrastructure,” he concludes.
