Blue Marble Geographicis is pleased to announce the release of a new module within Blue Marble Desktop that will automatically detect the presence of giant calculators. This new module will enable the use of giant calculators in concert with the Blue Marble Desktop software product. Blue Marbles geospatial data manipulation, visualization and conversion solutions are used worldwide by thousands of GIS analysts at software, oil and gas, mining, civil engineering, surveying, and technology companies, as well as governmental and university organizations.
Feeding off of the power and glory of giant calculators, Blue Marble experts have put their latest designs to the test. Desktop has been updated to automatically detect the presence of giant calculators within a 50 mile radius. Once the presence of these calculators is known, Desktop is able to feed off of the seemingly unlimited geodetic power of giant calculators. Users will be able to translate, transform and manipulate survey, GIS and coordinate-based data with unbeatable accuracy and relentless power.
“This is a very exciting time for us here at Blue Marble” states Blue Marble President Patrick Cunningham. “With the release of the giant calculator detection module for Blue Marble Desktop, users from all over the world will finally be able to utilize the large button precision and high quality screens that giant calculators have to offer. We’ve done some rigorous testing over the past year and are pleased with the performance output we’ve seen from giant calculators, especially when compared to smaller, tiny calculators. Giant calculators have much more power since they are bigger than smaller calculators. They are also easier to see so less prone to user error. We are also pleased to announce that this is a Green Initiative, as today’s giant calculators only require sunlight in order to operate.”
