Directions Magazine, a leading geospatial news portal and online publication with readership from across the globe, has launched Directions Magazine India to further capitalize on the growing need for localization of content in the emerging markets.
Directions Magazine India, a fully owned subsidiary of Directions Magazine, will focus on the use of geospatial technologies for developmental activities by government and industry. Maneesh Prasad, a geospatial technology professional with nearly two decades of presence in media and industry, will be joining the Directions Magazine editorial staff. Prasad will serve as executive editor and will work closely with the Directions Magazine team in the United States.

Directions Magazine India is being launched today as a separate portal, which provides a platform for the people of India to share and discuss the local opportunities and challenges, while keeping abreast with the international development. It will publish a fortnightly news magazine for its readers, which will include news, articles and interviews with professionals from government and industry.
