For the past decade Merrick Advanced Photogrammetry of the Americas (MAPA) has served the Americas and recently completed work in Zapopan, Mexico, in support of a national cadastral program and modernization for the municipality of Zapopan. The cadastral modernization program will allow the municipality to identify ownership of land as a basis of taxation.
MAPA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Merrick & Company (Aurora, CO) and they led the work involving 600 square kilometers where MAPA supplied satellite imagery, digitizing of evidence of ownership, airborne LiDAR mapping and mobile LiDAR.
