Top professionals, institutions, companies and brands to compete at MundoGEO#Connect Award 2013
The first round of MundoGEO#Connect Award 2013 has been launched, which will choose the best of the geospatial industry in 25 categories. The current phase will be available until April 30, in which everyone can openly indicate the five finalists in each category.
“In the preliminary phase of MundoGEO#Connect Award 2013, people were able to indicate which categories of previous years were more important. Thus, we could eliminate some categories and create new ones, making the prize more relevant to the market”, said Eduardo Freitas, technical coordinator of the event MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica. “Among the new categories for this year, we can highlight: the most remarkable brand of UAVs, the most remarkable courses in the geo sector, the best Facebook page and the best mobile geolocation app”.
In May, with the five finalists in each category listed, people can vote for their favorite candidate, granting winners on the second day of MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica 2013, Conference and Trade Fair on Geomatics and Geospatial Solutions which takes place from June 18 to 20 in Sao Paulo (SP), Brazil.
