Hexagon Geosystems, a division of Hexagon, which is a leading global provider of design, measurement and visualisation technologies, has acquired the French company Geodata Diffusion, making the company a wholly owned subsidiary of Hexagon.
Headquartered in Arpajon, near Paris (France), Geodata Diffusion is a provider of network RTK correction services to the surveying and agriculture segments through its Orphéon network of GNSS permanent stations. The Orphéon network covers the whole of France and its overseas territories. Geodata Diffusion serves a large customer base through its distribution network. It will retain a level of autonomy within the Hexagon group.
Geodata Diffusion brings expertise in providing GNSS positioning services to its wide customer base. Together with the recent acquisition of Veripos through Hexagon, it will be an instrumental part in Hexagon Geosystems’ ambitions in this field, said Jürgen Dold, president of Hexagon Geosystems Division.
