VisionMap Ltd. announced today the sale of its A3 Edge Digital Mapping System to CAE Aviation, a Luxembourg-based provider of services in the fields of geophysical aerial survey and HLS. CAE purchased A3 Edge following their strategic decision to expand the company’s range of services to include aerial mapping and photogrammetric products.
“After extensive evaluation,” said Bernard ZELER, General Manager of CAE Aviation, “we chose A3 Edge, which met the unique requirements for our range of projects, while maximizing productivity and opening new business opportunities.” VisionMap’s camera is able to fly at high altitudes while obtaining very high resolution images and wide coverage. For mapping projects, A3 Edge provides the highest aerial survey productivity on the market, along with high accuracy without ground control points. Final photogrammetric products are produced in a fully automatic workflow.
