A new Australian Data Technology R&D company, BigData Earth Pty Ltd, has just published its new website at www.BigDataEarth.com
The new company develops innovative Location-centric Business Applications worldwide using Geospatial Big Data Analytics and Global Earth Observation.
The main mission of the company is to turn terabytes or petabytes of geospatial Big Data into smart data and location insights, with a knowledge- and data-driven approach. Multidisciplinary knowledge in geoscience, environmental sciences and applied geography is important when analysing a large volume of geospatial data for real-world environmental applications.
Products and solutions are being developed and offered at three levels:
– Unique data products, including the making of global imagery and terrain mosaics;
– Advanced, accessible software tools for Earth Observation image processing;
– Applications including climate change impacts and property location information.
