Fugro has been awarded a contract for an airborne geophysical survey over regions of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The value of the contract is US$23 million (€16,9 million).

The Sustainable Management of Mineral Resources Project, acting on behalf of the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, will supervise the project, which is assisted by the World Bank.

Fugro is tasked to acquire and process approximately 1,000,000 line kilometres of fixed wing airborne magnetic and radiometric data over the Chad Basin, Central North region, Adamawa & Cross River region and Sokoto & Niger Basins of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
