MundoGEO, leader on events and publishing magazines and portals to the geospatial industry in Latin America, creator of GeoConnectPeople social network, announces that the number of members connected to the interaction platform just went over 3,500.
GeoConnectPeople brings together professionals, students and researchers in the geospatial industry and provides an environment for open debate on satellite images, GIS, GPS, land surveying and mapping, among other issues. A free network that allows members to create discussion groups, post pictures and videos, start forum topics and share status.
The purpose of GeoConnectPeople social network is to work as a tool of global integration of professionals working in the market of geospatial solutions. Currently, the network has representatives from all continents.
“The platform is designed in English, but topics can be posted in any language,” said Eduardo Freitas, creator and mediator of GeoConnectPeople. “The community is free to adopt the best ways to build this collaborative network.”
