The Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are increasingly being used in various applications. Nowadays, there is an increase on the use of these tools to conduct aerial surveys. As a consequence, MundoGEO, leader on events and publishing magazines and portals to the geospatial industry in Latin America, and Santiago & Cintra Geo-tecnologias, a brazilian company that operates in the mapping industry, hosted an online workshop about the use of UAVs and the innovation on surveys. The online event happened this last week and brought together 892 people, the largest number of participants ever recorded in MundoGEO online seminars.

In addition to that there were more than 1747 subscribers in this interactive webinar, made available to all professionals and businesses that wish to enlarge or clear up doubts about the surveying and mapping in general.

The presentation on the UAVs webinar was made by Luiz Dalbelo, cartographic engineer and master in Space Geodesy, UNESP Presidente Prudente. Moreover, he is the sales manager of Santiago & Cintra.

MundoGEO has conducted more than 60 webinars since 2009. The online seminars provide more convenience to the participant since it is not necessary to leave home to attend the presentations. Besides, what stands out of MundoGEO webinars is that most of them are free of charge and give out certificates to its participants.
