MundoGEO, leader in the organization of events and publication of magazines and web portal for the geospatial industry, will be in the XIX Esri Latin America User Conference (Lauc 2012), in Argentina. The event is held annually in various countries, bringing together providers and users of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

The meeting, organized jointly by Aeroterra and Esri, will be held at the Convention Center of the Catholic University of Argentina, and will be attended by global GIS experts, besides many users presentations. With all this knowledge exchange, the event’s ultimate goal is to disseminate the potential of geospatial technology and its contribution to sustainable development in Latin America.

Besides the exhibition of the latest developments and solutions offered by ArcGIS technology, the conference will feature an exhibition of products and several workshops and seminars. Emerson Granemann, director and publisher of MundoGEO, explains the company’s interest in the event. “The presence of MundoGEO in Lauc follows our strategy of seeking important content in Latin America for our magazine and website. Moreover, we want to better understand the needs of the countries of Latin America”, he says.

MundoGEO will be at Lauc with a booth at the event’s fair, and will also attend the lectures, bringing the latest news from Esri to all its readers. For further information, see the event website and wait for exclusive news in MundoGEO magazine and Portal!
