Intergraph announces the upcoming release of GeoMedia WebMap 2013 as part of Intergraph Geospatial Portfolio 2013. As a fully-scalable server solution for building and deploying high-performance web services and websites, GeoMedia WebMap 2013 enables secure sharing and analysis via real-time enterprise access.

New features include a harmonized administration console and out-of-the-box, customizable thin client, an updated publisher application, and increased performance for image delivery and overall data serving.

The new web-based administration console enables users to create and configure all aspects of server-side engines, web services and web applications in one place. Geospatial Portal is now the integrated web client for web map publishing. Geospatial Portal is a configurable and customizable front end for users to view, analyze, capture and update geospatial information. The new GeoMedia WebMap Publisher application (based on the Geospatial Portal) provides easy web application creation from a GeoMedia GeoWorkspace.

GeoMedia WebMap 2013 features enhanced overall performance with an OGC Web Map Tile Service (OGC WMTS), allowing users to serve WMS data. This will also be supported by the new GeoMedia WebMap Publisher application that can consume and render WMTS data.

GeoMedia WebMap client applications may be integrated with Erdas Apollo Essentials for rapid and superior image delivery to client applications.

GeoMedia WebMap 2013 will be available in three product tiers:

• GeoMedia WebMap Essentials: Set up a fully-scalable server solution in the form of web services or thin clients. This tier provides real-time enterprise data access, sophisticated geospatial analysis, and map generation.
• GeoMedia WebMap Advantage: Includes all the functionality in GeoMedia WebMap Essentials and provides the ability to capture spatial data in accordance with a central data model and write directly to the database. This product tier is bundled with Geospatial Portal to enable advanced client-side functionality.
• GeoMedia WebMap Professional: Provides all the functionality in GeoMedia WebMap Advantage, as well as advanced linear analysis functions.

Intergraph is launching Intergraph Geospatial 2013 later this year. The united portfolio includes new releases of GeoMedia, Erdas Imagine, LPS, ImageStation, Erdas Apollo, GeoMedia Smart Client, GeoMedia Web Map, Geospatial Portal, and Geospatial SDI.
