GeoSUR lanza el mapa integrado de MesoaméricaGeoSUR Program is making important efforts to incorporate new regional datasets into its Regional Map Viewer on a continuous basis. With support from Cartogeo and important global spatial data developers, it has been added several new regional datasets to the GeoSUR Regional Map Viewer. The following datasets have been recently added:

• Land use/ Land cover for selected Caribbean islands (data provided by the USGS and the USDA);
• Ecological Systems, Andean-Amazon region of Peru and Bolivia (data provided by Nature Serve);
• New Mesoamerican Seamless Map, 1:250.000 (developed by the Mapping Agencies of Mesoamerica);
• Caribbean Coral Reefs (data provided by the World Resources Institute).

GeoSUR will continue to add new regional datasets over the coming months. Since the regional datasets available have grown as of late, some of them are not available in the Regional Map Viewer but are only available in WMS Services. You may check them by going to www.geosur.info

and conducting a search using “WMS” as keyword.
