The Instituto Geográfico Militar (IGM-Bo), in La Paz, Bolivia, announced the inauguration of the new Sirgas Experimental Processing Centre in Bolivia, from the event GPS 1761, held on October 6, 2013.

The installation of this processing centre has been possible thanks to a cooperation agreement subscribed by the German Geodetic Research Institute (DGFI, Germany), the University of Bern (Switzerland) and IGM-Bolivia.
