Do you use Earth Observation data for teaching? Or do you use EO data as part of your work and have an idea for a training package?

The European Space Agency (ESA) is funding a competition with prizes of €5000, €3000 and €2000 as part of the LearnEO! Project.

The prizes will be awarded for the best on-line lessons that provide examples of how satellite data from ESA missions can contribute to better understanding of the world we live in and the challenges we face.

The competition is open to individuals or teams, and the lessons can be suitable for high school/6th form, undergraduate or postgraduate level. Hands-on activities must use Bilko software.

The closing date for registration is  5 January 2014 and for competition entries is 31 January 2014.
