Supergeo Technologies, a leading global provider of GIS software and solutions, announced that SuperGIS desktop 3.1a and the analysis extensions were adopted by the Department of Geography, Kuwait University to support greater geospatial data integration and management, helping students use GIS capabilities to improve their research skills.
SuperGIS Toolkit in SuperGIS Desktop 3.1a enables to design and define geoprocessing workflow to efficiently process, display, and analyze massive amount of spatial data. Through accessing the GIS system, the educators and the learners can quickly obtain the required historical data from different chronological periods and then produce more reliable and accurate research outcome.
In addition, SuperGIS Desktop extensions including Spatial Analyst, Network Analyst, Biodiversity Analyst, Spatial Statistical Analyst, and 3D Analyst assist the department in carrying out advanced analyses and modeling to support various environment programs such as water quality monitoring, land-use planning, natural resource management, transportation, and disaster prevention.
