One of this year’s largest annual student meetings in geomatics, the International Geodetic Students Meeting (IGSM), will be held at Istanbul Technical University, Turkey between 25 June and 1 July. The non-profit organisation aims to provide worldwide perspective and global synergy among the students in the fields of land surveying, geodesy, photogrammetry and other relevant studies.
The participants will attend a number of technical seminars and visits but also will enjoy cultural trips and social gatherings organised by locals. The participants will have the possibility to introduce their cultural backgrounds as well as to learn in detail from Turkish in the charming spots of Istanbul. Experts from academia and private sector representatives will contribute as panelists.
